Basic Auth

A genuinely server-enforced HTTP Basic Auth page — this is real middleware-level auth, not a simulated one.

Try it

Visit /protected/basic-auth directly (in a new tab, or with your tool's credential-in-URL support / auth header). Credentials:

username: admin · password: admin123

Go to protected page

Selenium/Playwright/Cypress all support this via a URL like https://admin:admin123@yourhost/protected/basic-auth, or by setting an Authorization: Basic ... header directly for API-level checks.
